That, of course, brings a smile to my face and is all the encouragement I need to promote my Malone mystery series to them. Which is the purpose of this post today. To tell you that each of my books takes place during a holiday in one of the four seasons. Why am I mentioning this? Because Christmas will be here before we know it and, if you plan to buy books for the mystery readers on your list, I'm going to make it easy for you to tailor your purchases to each person.
Each of my books may be read as a standalone.
Winter (Christmas/New Year's)
Happy Reading and Happy Shopping!
Will you continue your series with each book centered around or near a holiday?
ReplyDeletePat,
DeleteMy publisher likes to tease me by saying, "What's next? Memorial Day?" My answer is "No. At least not yet." I'm not sure what the future holds for my series beyond the next two books.
Book 5 will take place in South Carolina again on and around Valentine's Day and, in Book 6, we'll be back home in Cincinnati in time for St. Patrick's Day. :)
A great idea!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny, Jacqueline, because when I wrote "Mixed Messages," the first book in the series, I had no intention of having future books take place on holidays. It just sort of happened that way.
DeleteThat was very clever of you to plan your books like that. Now you've got the entire year covered.
ReplyDeleteWell, Evelyn, I have every season of the year covered but not every holiday - yet. LOL
DeleteInspired post. : ) I looove your books and you used the holidays to keep me reading.

Thanks, Marja! That's high praise coming from an author of your caliber. I love your books too, especially your Sandi Webster mysteries.
