Set in the Central Valley of California, author Sunny Frazier once again
explores the rich agricultural region, rural law enforcement and crimes
shrouded by Tule fog in WHERE ANGELS FEAR, the sequel to FOOLS RUSH IN.
Amateur
astrologer Christy Bristol finds herself on the fringes of Kearny society and a
members-only sex club as she reluctantly takes on a missing person case.
Prominent business man Avery Anders has disappeared and his wife cannot go to
the authorities. When the man's horoscope reveals an affair and mortal danger,
she enlists Christy to do an investigation.
Christy's
day job with the local sheriff's department is on the line as her investigation
crosses paths with several homicide cases and surly Detective Kerwin. Could the
cases be connected?
Christy Bristol must go WHERE ANGELS FEAR to tread.

I'm a big fan of Fools Rush In. Looking forward to the next one!
ReplyDeleteDon't hide your light under a bushle, spending all your time working for other authors'success. A whole person also makes time for themselves. Keep writing.
ReplyDeleteSo glad Christy will have another case soon. I will always remember her first case when she was in the closet--literally in the closet. Ha.
ReplyDeleteHuge fan of these novels. They're great!
ReplyDeleteI must add my praise to the others here. Both of the Cristy novels are excellent. I anxious to see A Snitch in Time.
ReplyDeleteAn astrology mystery sounds like an interesting concept. This one will have to go on my TBR list. BTW, love your website, Sunny.
ReplyDeleteI have got to get on the Sunny Frazier band wagon as an author. The book sound like books I could sink my teeth into and stay there from beginning to end. I am already on the Sunny Frazier band wagon as a person. She shares her expertise freely, and is always ready to help a person learn the publishing world. Thanks, Sunny.
ReplyDeleteShouldn't the third book be entitled: To Tread ? You know, just to complete the saying? lol.
ReplyDeleteI love the uniqueness of the Christy Bristol mysteries. The astrology aspect creates a very interesting insight into what's going on. So much better than the normal boring backstory I find myself resorting to. I think I like best, however, that Christy is authentic. She isn't a super heroine; she isn't braver than Braveheart. She just is an ordinary woman we can relate to who gets herself into the darnedest fixes! Keep 'em coming, Sunny!
ReplyDeleteChristy's a sleuth,no doubt. I'm intrigued by her astrology work. Nice touch for this protagonist.
ReplyDeleteI love the juxtaposition of the astrology aspect of Christy and her more hard-boiled sleuthing side.
ReplyDeleteI'm reading Fools Rush In and, when I finish, I'll read Where Angels Fear. Perhaps A Snitch in Time will be out by then. What an adventure! I'm going to really know Christy Bristol and all about astrology, as well.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to the next adventure. Sunny is a fantastic writer and friend. Augie
