Madison Johns |
Today we have with us, humorous mystery author, Madison Johns. As I always do on my Mystery Author of the Month posts, I've asked her to reply to three questions.
Patricia: Madison, when did you know that you wanted to
be a writer?
Madison: It
was never anything I ever thought about until I was forty-four. The writing bug
hit me like a sledgehammer.
Patricia: If, for some reason, you couldn’t be a
writer, what profession would you choose?
Madison: A dog breeder, seriously I have a miniature
Australian shepherd, husky, and labradoodle that I bought within the last year
and a half. I love dogs.
Patricia: Do you have a bucket list, things you still want to
do and/or places you want to visit?
Madison: It’s too big to list I think, but I’d like to travel
to England one day. I love history and would love to tour castles. I’d also love
to go on a whale watching tour, see the ocean, the mountains, sky is the limit.
Bio:
Madison Johns was born and raised in a small town in Mid-Michigan, where she spent most of her time creating stories in her head. Fast forward to 2012 when she burst onto the writing scene at the age of 48, with her first mystery, Armed and Outrageous, depicting a zany cast of persons of a certain age characters. A series that takes place in the real town of Tawas, Michigan, one of Madison's favorite vacation spot as a child.
Birds of a Feather flock
together in Tawas, Michigan, as the Tawas Point Birding Festival comes to town.
Agnes and Eleanor are happy to be home again, but are back to their
investigative ways after a deadly accident occurs on Plank Road. They’re ready
to grab their binoculars and search high and low for the truth about what
really happened, even if they’re the only ones who think that a crime has been
committed.

DeleteMadison Johns is one of the most prolific writers I've ever encountered. She writes and publishes faster than I can read!
ReplyDeleteThanks. It's not effortless. There are days I so laze off, but ultimately I can pull it together somehow. I have so many readers who love my Agnes series that I hate to make them wait too long. When I write about them it's like coming home.
DeleteThis is a series I really want to read. Thanks for the post and chance to win. doward1952@yahoo.com
